1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, signing up for, or using NotHungry, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, do not use the app.
2 Services Provided
NotHungry is an AI calorie and nutrition tracker. Features include AI food-photo analysis, barcode scanning, food search, custom foods, a food diary, calorie and macro tracking, water tracking, and nutrition insights. We may add or change features over time.
3 Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login secure.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms.
4 Access and Membership
There are two ways to get access to NotHungry, and only one of them applies to you.
A. With a NotFit membership
- NotHungry is part of the NOT Ecosystem and is included with an active NotFit membership, at no extra cost.
- When you sign in, we check the email address on your account against NotFit to confirm your membership is active. There is nothing for you to enter.
- Your membership is managed entirely in NotFit, including its price, renewal and cancellation. Those terms are set by NotFit, not by NotHungry.
- If your NotFit membership ends, access to NotHungry stops until an active membership is confirmed again.
B. With a NotHungry subscription
- If you are not a NotFit member, you can subscribe to NotHungry from inside the app. The subscription is separate from NotFit and gives access to NotHungry only.
- We offer a monthly plan and a yearly plan. Both give the same access; they differ only in how often you are billed. The plan name, the length of the billing period and the price are shown on the subscription screen in the app before you buy.
- Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store as in-app purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple account settings. We never receive or store your card details.
- Access lasts for as long as the subscription is active. If it expires, is cancelled at the end of its period, or is refunded, access to NotHungry stops.
- If you subscribed through our website before in-app subscriptions were available, that subscription remains valid on the terms you agreed at the time, and continues until you cancel it. See section 5.
5 Cancellation and Refunds
- NotFit members: there is nothing to cancel inside NotHungry. Cancel, change or request a refund for your NotFit membership through NotFit, or through the store you bought it from, under its refund policy.
- NotHungry subscribers (App Store): cancel at any time in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or Manage Subscriptions in the App Store). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not cut it short. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- NotHungry subscribers (website): if you subscribed through our website before in-app subscriptions were available, you can cancel from the subscription-management link in your confirmation email, or by emailing hello@notfit.io. The same rule applies: cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- For website subscriptions, refunds outside your statutory rights are at our discretion. If something has gone wrong, email us. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
- If you are in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. By starting to use the app immediately you agree we may begin the service within that period, and we may reduce a refund in proportion to what you have used.
- You can delete your NotHungry account and its data at any time from inside the app. See Delete Account. Deleting your account does not, on its own, cancel a paid subscription, and does not cancel a NotFit membership. Cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple account settings first; for a website subscription, cancel it first or email us and we will do both.
6 User Responsibilities
- Use the app at your own risk, and use good judgment about what you eat.
- Consult a doctor or qualified professional before starting any new nutrition, diet, or weight-management program, especially if you have a health condition or a history of disordered eating.
- Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not promote, advertise, sell, source, request, or solicit prescription medications, controlled substances, weight-loss drugs (including GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide or tirzepatide, for example Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound), anabolic steroids, supplements that make drug-like claims, or any illegal or regulated substance, anywhere in the app.
7 Nutrition Estimates & Accuracy
Calorie and macro values in NotHungry (whether produced by AI photo analysis, a barcode lookup, or a food database) are estimates, not exact measurements. They can vary with portion size, preparation, and ingredients. Use them as a helpful guide, and do not rely on them for medical, clinical, or other decisions that require precise figures. See our Medical Disclaimer.
8 Intellectual Property
All app content, branding, and design are owned by NotHungry. You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without permission.
9 Limitation of Liability
NotHungry provides general nutrition and calorie information. We are not responsible for health issues or outcomes that result from using the app or from decisions you make based on its estimates. Use the services at your own risk.
10 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, misuse the app, or harm the service or other users.
11 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by your local laws.
12 Medications, Controlled Substances & Health Claims
NotHungry is a general nutrition and calorie-tracking app. It is not a medical, pharmacy, telehealth, or healthcare service, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
NotHungry does not prescribe, supply, sell, recommend, endorse, verify, or facilitate access to any prescription medication, controlled substance, weight-loss drug (including GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide or tirzepatide, for example Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound), anabolic steroid, or other regulated or illegal substance.
You agree that you will not use the app to:
- promote, advertise, market, sell, buy, source, request, or solicit any prescription medication, controlled substance, weight-loss drug, steroid, or illegal substance;
- seek or obtain medical, diagnostic, dosing, or prescription advice, or instructions on how to obtain, use, or combine any medication or substance; or
- make unverified medical, therapeutic, or weight-loss claims about any product or substance.
Always consult a licensed physician or pharmacist before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, or treatment, and follow the directions of your own healthcare provider. Please also read our Medical Disclaimer.
13 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
